Palos Verdes Peninsula: See The Breathtaking Cliffs

by Ryan ROCKY Rockwood

Living a rich lifestyle in a beach house is a dream of millions of us. It's no surprise that this is the number one wish for a number of people, and there's hope that this dream could become a reality. California residents may purchase a beach house at one of several sites situated on the state's coastline. But nothing beats the beaches on the Palos Verdes Peninsula.

People seem to have the impression that unless they happen to be celebrities in Hollywood or wealthy business tycoons, houses on the Peninsula in Palos Verdes are not withing their budget financially. Actually, on the contrary, all cities in Palos Verdes offer luxurious, yet very affordable homes.Whether you live in Rolling Hills or Rancho Palos Verdes, you can purchase a very luxurious home with an ocean-view that will smile on you and your budget.

The Peninsula can be found in the South Bay area of California where there are some spectacular cliffs overlooking the ocean. They are truly stunning. This area was previously owned by a lone Spanish pioneer who owned large ranches and there are some very charming horse trails here. If you've never been on a horse you needn't fret because the area has many riding clubs that cater to the novice.

Cities along the beach are scattered with great places to shop too. The Malaga Cove, in the western section of Palos Verdes, provides a first-class shopping experience. This section is well-known for its unique building designs which resemble the European Renaissance movement. The shopping area is also close to some spectacular estates located on nearby cliffs and perched above the Pacific Ocean.

Torrance is the biggest municipality on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Its Del Amo Mall has been chosen as the site for numerous movie shoots. Its dining spots serve dishes native to the surrounding area and also foods which are popular throughout the nation.

A little known but extremely beautiful attraction on Palos Verdes is the Wayfarer's Chapel. This chapel is made entirely of glass.
